How to enter

Submit on FilmFreeway

FilmFreeway handles the entry, the fee and the deadline, and it is where every script we read arrives. Everything else on this site (the rules, the jury, the results) is here to tell you what happens after you press submit.

1

Get the file right

All scripts must be submitted in English, in one of six formats: PDF, Final Draft, Movie Magic Screenwriter, Microsoft Word, Rich Text Format or Text.

2

Enter before the deadline

Entries must be received by the applicable Entry Deadline. All writers’ names go in the online entry form; a “written by” credit on the file itself is optional.

3

We read it, and only we read it

Your screenplay goes to the official judges and no further without your permission, and you keep every right to it. Revised drafts are entered as a new submission.

The three panels above are the short version of rules 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 and 9. The full rules are the ones that count.

Every entry is read and scored by our judging panel. The highest scores become Winners and Official Selections, and those go to our producers.
